This trek take one through beautiful valleys, streams and inside the jungle where you find rhododendron, Ceder, Fir tree and many other flora and fauna. This trail give you lot more than you have ever seen.

Tour Details

(Brahmatal Trek)

Brahmtal trek is one of the best winter session trek. It not only known for its enormous beauty
but it also connection with mythology (which is believed to be the meditation site of Lord
Brahma). It is situated 7000 ft approx., above the sea level, in Uttarkhand, Garhwal region. In the
morning you never not be imagined how it look when sun’s first rays kissing a snow-clad peak and
in night when sky full of stars, it completely mesmerizing you. Throughout the trail you find the
spectacular views of Himalayan & some of the its famous Mountains and Peaks like, Mt. Trishul,
Mt. Nadaghunti, Mt. Chowkhamba, Mt. Hathi, Peaks Nilkanth etc. You can see these Mountains and Peaks very clearly and closely.

Itinerary / Tour Plan

Day 1: Lohajung

After arrival on Lohajung our representative will meet you here and will assist for check in at Guest House/Lodge. Rest of the day at leisure at Village. Dinner & Overnight at Guest House/Lodge.


Day 2: Lohajung to Telandi via Bekaltal lake

After take hot breakfast, we move for our first base campsite Telandi. Today we cover 8 km long trek in 4-5hr crossing the rhododendron tree jungle. From Begum, we take some rest here, this place provides awesome views of Navali Bugyal and Bagdi Bugyal. After feel energetic we move to Telandi via Bekaltal which 2.5 km away from Bekaltal. Pitch camp here and serve hot lunch.

Here you enjoy snow and forget about your tiredness. Dinner & overnight stay in camp.

Day 3: Telandi to Brahmtal

After early morning breakfast, today we move to Brahmtal, our next base camp which is 5km away. During this day trail you are witness some of the most beautiful mountains and peaks of Himalayas like Mt. Trishul, Mt. Nandaghunti will keep your cameras busy today. The lake of Brahmatal is small in size & is difficult to located from a distance specially in winters when its completely frozen. Finally, we move for our summit which is Brahmtal Top it is 3 km away from our campsite and it is easy trek.

After Spend some quality of time here and then Return to the camp. Dinner and overstay campsite. It can be very cold here in the months of winters so wear extra layer of cloths to protect you from cold.

Day 4: Lohajung

After early morning breakfast in Telandi departure for Lohajung and we reach at 2 PM in evening. It is your choice to stay in Lohajung or move to from your home with sweet memories of this trek in your heart. Our services end here.

Good team, but all of them are too lenient on late comers….we had a great time, but were late by 4 hours at starting point itself and that resulted in our trek to Triund to start late afternoon instead of morning. Otherwise, very friendly n cooperative team and fun to travel with. Packages are quite competitively priced. All the best, will definitely join TDG for another trip in near future.

Lohajung, Uttarakhand, India

Lohajung is basecamp for high altitude treks of Gharwal region of Uttarakhand. People visit this place to start their treks for famous mysterious lake of Roopkund. Other than Roopkund lake trek, trek to Ronti Saddle, Homkund, Bedni Bugyal, Brahamtal and Mt. Trisul expedition also starts from here. Its is a lush green village surrounded by fields of Amaranths.
