(Down MTB from Khardung La)

Khardung La at a height of 18,380 ft is the world’s highest motorable road. The pass traverses the Ladakh Range as it connects the city of Leh and the Indus Valley to the Nubra Valley. The views from the pass of the Zanskar Range across the Indus valley to the southwest and the Karakoram Range to the northeast are superb.

– MTB ride on the road from Khardung La to Leh is much more exciting and easier than any trekking in Ladakh. You will get the best views with top safety.

Itinerary / Tour Plan

Day 1, Leh Pick up and Downhill MTB

10:00AM – Pick up from Leh Taxi stand, we will get into the cars to reach the highest motorable road, right at the Khardung La. The mountain bikes would be available when you reach at the top

12:00PM – We will make a halt of 15 mins only at the top, you can click the pictures and experience the majestic views of the pass. You will get the MTB with the proper gear and packed lunch to ride down the mighty hills of Ladakh. 

While cycling down you will see the beautiful Zanskar and Ladakh range of Himalayas and the Indus valley view. The valley looks pure magical and stunning when you are cycling you will the better view. 

We will happily end our ride back at Leh with the memories of this extreme adventure.

Good team, but all of them are too lenient on late comers….we had a great time, but were late by 4 hours at starting point itself and that resulted in our trek to Triund to start late afternoon instead of morning. Otherwise, very friendly n cooperative team and fun to travel with. Packages are quite competitively priced. All the best, will definitely join TDG for another trip in near future.
