(Manali Kaza Spiti Tour Roadtrip)

This Manali Spiti tour can be completed in a week and covers major landmarks of Manali and Spiti. It’s a good package for spending a short vacation in Himalayan mountains of Himachal Pradesh.

Itinerary / Tour Plan

Day 0: Arrival in Manali

Pickup on arrival in Manali and transfer to hotel for rest and showers.  Full day at leisure to explore a bit of Manali on your own.  We can also arrange for arrival to Manali from Delhi or nearby cities if asked for.

Day 1: Manali – Batal – Chandrataal

We’ll leave Manali early morning, you will get the sightseeing and photo opportunities. We’ll then drive towards Batal and stop there for a lunch. After that, we’ll drive Chandrataal Lake and stay there in camp nearby for the night. Dinner and bonfire at the campsite.

Day 2: Chandrataal – Kunzum La -Kibber – Kaza kibber back to Kaza (full day)

From Chandrataal we’ll drive towards Kunzum La, ( 4550 meters)  a major landmark. There is a temple dedicated to a Goddess Kunzum in middle of pass. We’ll then visit Kibber village (4200 meters), one of highest inhabited villages in the world. Main attraction is the huge Key Gompa monastery of Gelugpa Buddhism sect.  We’ll spend the night in our hotel in Kaza.

Day 3: Kaza – Chattru

Next morning, we’ll drive back to Chattru from Kaza along the same route we came passing Kunzum Laa, Batal. We will stop at Batal for lunch and then move to Chattru. Camping Overnight in Chattru.

Day 4: Chattru – Manali

Next morning, we’ll drive back to Manali from Chattru along the same route we came passing Rohtang Pass. Drop at Manali and tour ends. You have the choice of either staying overnight in Manali or drive to some other place of choice from there.

Good team, but all of them are too lenient on late comers….we had a great time, but were late by 4 hours at starting point itself and that resulted in our trek to Triund to start late afternoon instead of morning. Otherwise, very friendly n cooperative team and fun to travel with. Packages are quite competitively priced. All the best, will definitely join TDG for another trip in near future.
