Short Itinerary for Ladakh Bike Trip
Day 0 – Manali Arrival(By Bus) and AcclimatizationÂ
Day 1  – By Ride to Jispa – 6 Hrs (140 Km)
Day 2 – Ride Jispa to Sarchu – 5 Hrs (100 Km)
Day 3 – Ride Sarchu to Leh via Tso Kar – 8 Hrs (260 Km)
Day 4 – Rest Day in Leh
Day 5 – Ride to Hunder via Diskit, Shyok Valley via Khardung La(Pass) – 6 Hrs (125 Km)
Day 6 – Ride to Pangong Tso via Panamic (Nubra Valley) and Shyok River – 7 Hrs (180 Km)
Day 7 – Ride back to Leh via Chang La(Pass) – 7 Hrs (160 Km)
Day 8 – Local Sightseeing in LehÂ
Day 9 – By Ride Leh to Sarchu – 9 Hrs (260 Km)

Descriptive Itinerary for Manali to Ladakh Bike Trip
Day 0 – Manali Arrival and AcclimitzationÂ
Day 1  – By Ride to Jispa – 6 Hrs (140 Km)
✓ Next morning, post breakfast, we begin our Ride to Jispa past the snow-clad Rohtang Pass
✓ We go past beautiful Himalayan Villages, sizzling Waterfalls and awe-inspiring scenery to reach 13,060 feet (Rohtang Pass). Now, we descend to Chandra Valley going past Kokhsar, Tandi & Keylong to reach our night halt at Jispa
✓ A hot Lunch on the riverbank gives the needed relaxation to our tired bodies. We, now, have time and a range of activities to indulge in – Relax or Walk along the river to the wild or Play various Board Games
Day 2 – Ride Jispa to Sarchu – 5 Hrs (100 Km)
✓ Next Morning comes in early as ride is long & tiring and add to it the halts, we take, to appreciate the magnificence of the Himalayan beauty & the changing Landscape
✓ Post Breakfast, we start again and going past the tricky Baralacha La (16,500 ft), we reach the mesmerizing Suraj Tal (source of river Bhaga). We continue to connect with the high passes as we cross the passes Lachulung-La (16,600 ft) Tanglang-La (at 17,480 ft – 2nd highest motorable road in the world) to reach Ramsey (an oasis surrounded by barren craggy hills)
✓ We will halt at Sarchu the first spot in Jammu & Kashmir. Relax our muscle for the adventure ride of tomorrow.Â
✓ We will reach our place of stay and succumb to the warmth of our beds & blankets
Day 3 – Ride Sarchu to Leh – 8 Hrs (260 Km)
✓ Next Morning will come as a delight and finally the road smoothens & we smoothly glide to the mysterious land of Lamas and majestic beauty
✓ We will enter the land of High Passes and continue to ride to Tso Kar Lake near Thukje Village, we will have the lunch here and then move to Leh via Hemis, Thiksey and Shey.
✓ Upon reaching Leh, we will go to our place of stay and succumb to the warmth of our beds & blankets
Day 4 – Rest Day in Leh
✓ We rest and explore the local market and the visit the Leh Palace
Day 5 –Ride to Hunder (Shyok Valley) – 6 Hrs (125 Km)
✓ A Big Day as we ride past the Highest Motorable Road in the world – KhardungLa Pass (17,582 ft)Â
✓ Past the Pass, we descend into the Valley of Flowers – Shyok Valley to reach our place of stay at Hunder
✓ Post Lunch, we visit the Diskit Monastery and enjoy a bumpy Camel ride in the mesmerizing Sand Dunes (Himalayan Desert above 10,000 ft)
Day 6– Ride to Pangong Tso via Panamic (Nubra Valley) and Shyok River – 7 Hrs (180 Km)
✓ Post Breakfast, we ride to the other side of the valley to reach Summur (Nubra Valley) and hike (20 min) to the beautiful & holy lake named Yarab Tso. After soaking in the beautiful setting, we move to Panamic and ease our tired muscles in the Hot Water Springs of Panamic.
✓ Post Lunch, we start our ride to Pangong tso via the dramatic Shyok Valley.
✓ We will reach Pangong Tso via Tangtse. Enjoy the evening appreciating the changing colors of the mountains & the lake and staying here for the night.
Day 7– Ride back to Leh – 7 Hrs (160 Km)
✓ Post Breakfast, we will ride back to Leh
✓ The ride takes us past Changla Pass (17,350 ft) (3rd highest motorable road in the world)
✓  En-route, we visit the largest Gompa of Ladakh – Hemis Monastery.
✓ Rest time in Leh
Day 8 – Local Sightseeing at Leh
✓ This rest day will bring some relaxation to you after the heavy riding throughout the Ladakh region. You can take visit the local attractions such as Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, Namgyal Tsemo and Leh Market to buy some souvenirs for yourself.
✓ You must take your bikes to the most famous place in Ladakh, the mysterious Magnetic Hill. En-route, we will visit the Pathar Sahib and then move to mysterious Magnetic Hill and Indus Zanskar Confluence.
✓ Back to the basecamp in Leh and rest for the night.
Day 9 – By Ride Leh to Sarchu – 9 Hrs (260 Km)
✓ A hearty breakfast set us right for our return journey till Sarchu (via the route travelled)
Day 10 – By Ride Sarchu to Manali – 8 Hrs (230 Km)
✓ Our final ride back to Manali – last riding day, but not less interesting.
Day 11 – Rest in Manali & Overnight Volvo
✓ We relax our tired muscles & board the Volvo (in evening) back to home
✓ This day is kept as buffer day – in case of any delays during the riding days
