Serolsar Lake Trek is, particularly for the adventure lovers. Though being a beginner’s trek, it is pretty rough and rugged. Best enjoyed with friends. For a traveler who always aspires to reach to the ends and do overnight camping, this is a perfect plan for him/her and friends.
Tour Details
Serolsar is a beautiful lake situated in the middle of dense forest around Jalori Pass of Kullu District. The lake presents two different colors one in summer and other in winters. So winter is coming so is our trip.
– This is a 5 km moderate trek from the base camp i.e Jalori Pass.
– It is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 10,800 ft (3.120m) above the sea level, situated in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh.
– The pass is the nearest mountain pass from Delhi, approximately 600 km away, and features on every adventure tourist’s map.
Itinerary / Tour Plan
7am – Early Morning Arrival in Aut, we will have a little get together at our pick up point with fellow travelers then we will move towards Shoja via taxi and we will enjoy majestic views of Tirthan valley on our way.
9am – After arriving in Shoja, an offbeat village at 8500ft is blessed with natural beauty. We will have our breakfast and freshen-up at Guest house in Shoja, then we will move straight to Jalori Pass.
11:30am – We will explore Jalori Pass and click some solo and group photographs there. Don’t forget to take blessing from Mahakali temple before starting off the trek.
12:00am – We will start our trek to Serolsar Lake with packed lunch and experienced guide.
5:00pm – Serolsar Lake is located amidst the tall Kharshoo trees at a height of about 10,000 feet. At Serolsar Lake, after some snacks, we will enjoy the sunset.Â
8:00pm – Enjoy mountain food near the bonfire with some melancholic music. At night, we will gaze stars and enjoy night photography with a tripod and head back in our camps for a pleasing sleep.
Day 2
5:00am – We will experience Sunrise at Serolsar Lake and will all be ready for some 360 panoramic photography of the mighty Himalayas.
9:00am – After breakfast with some fun stories, we will trek back to Jalori pass.
1:00pm – We will leave for Aut and bid a good bye from there.Â

About the place
Kullu is a broad open valley formed by the Beas river between Manali and Largi. This valley is famous for its temples, beauty and its majestic hills covered with pine and deodar forest and sprawling apple orchards. The course of the Beas river presents a succession of magnificent, clad with forests of deodar, towering above trees of pine on the lower rocky ridges. Kullu valley is sandwiched between the Pir Panjal, Lower Himalayan, and Great Himalayan range.
