A 5-Star Review: I searched for weeks. Most waterproof/snow boots are ugly. Finally found these. Had them for about two months. I’ll give you some pros and cons.
Pros: I normally wear 10.5-11. These are right around the proper fit front to back. Water proofing is great. No weird squeaking. Decent grip in snow and ice.
Cons: Color is not gray, they are blue. Fit is a bit wide, 4th grommet on both shoes are showing signs of lossening.
A Critical Review: Don’t love or hate them — you get what you pay for. I gave 3 stars bc the name of the boot is “waterproof”, it should say water resistant. Without waterproofing these boots they held up waterproof for the most part for 3 months (I am a landscaper; walking through tall, wet grass every morning in PA throughout the year). I would NEVER go through puddles with these boots — not practical.
However, they’re super comfortable & lasted as long as I expected waterproof & durable wise.
If you want waterproof you need to TLC these boots (spraying protective waterproofing), or get a more expensive brand. Because I beat boots to death in this job, some pairs are worth spending much less. I prefer to beat boots to death in 12hr days 6 days a week, then going for a new pair after 8-12months — otherwise you have stinky boots after 1st year or so.

A 5-Star Review: I am a painter that works mostly new construction and do a lot of spraying and the paint usely drys my boots out and they crack and get tore up in just a couple of months but these Skechers have lasted me for no almost 1 year so I just bought a second pair on Amazon the first pair I got from Shoe Carnival and this pair I got on Amazon I only paid less so to me it was a no brainer I also am always cleaning out paint tools and my feet get wet but not with these they are waterproof I love these boots I even got my girlfriend the women’s version of them and she loves them also and not to mention but they are sooooo comfortable. If you need a quality pair of boots that doesn’t break the bank give them a try. I will continue to buy these for work and home. A Critical Review: I have other Skecher shoes which I like. These are underwhelming from a functional perspective. Good looking shoe, but IMO just lacking in hiking requirements. Sole seems OK; might take time to see how it holds up. The foot part seemed to fit OK, a bit tight, but it was really pretty painful going downhill where the toes felt like they were jammed up against concrete. I could not find a way to make the upper part tight enough to provide any ankle support, or even the illusion of ankle support.

A 5-Star Review: I purchased these boots for hiking on rough terrain with lots of rocks, hills and declines. The boots were comfortable right out of the box, minimal breaking in on the tongue area and around the ankle but they softened on the first hike. They have excellent traction, plenty of room in the toe area and they were secure they didn’t slip in the heel. They have memory foam support in them my feet were so comfortable and they’re waterproof I hiked through creeks they kept my feet dry. They’re lightweight no ankle or leg fatigue I would definitely purchase again. I purchased my regular size 11 with no issues.

A 5-Star Review: I like these hikers a lot, but after 3 miles my feet were sore. I’m pretty sure it’s my feet and not the shoe though because I have feet issues. I am a fan of sketchers with shock absorbers in them and these do not have that feature which I knew when I bought them.
I will still wear them for short term occasions but I won’t hike in them again. I’ll wear my regular sketchers with the shock absorbers in them. I’m still on the hunt for a hiking shoe that doesn’t break the bank and gets the job done…. Without too terribly painful of feet when it’s over.
If you don’t have feet issues, these would likely be just fine for you.
A Critical Review: Inside fit so well and so comfortable. Plenty of room around the toes, and a solid feel to the shoe needed for rough hiking. However, the ankle area was very stiff and dug into my ankles. Unable to endure this discomfort around the ankles. Too bad because everything else was great with these shoes. Will try the low rise version and see if those work. Returning these.

A 5-Star Review: These came just in time for me to pick them up at the locker hub and put them on, so I could wear them/try them out while attending an afternoon barbecue. I was wearing jeans and a polo shirt, and these shoes were perfect for that look.
The insole is NICE! It feels like my foot is being hugged by cotton. Lol. But I’m totally serious. I have high foot arches, and these insoles offer good support. It also helps that they are lightweight, so they won’t bog your foot down or put stress on your arches.
I have absolutely no problem at all recommending them for really any occasion. I know I am going to start wearing them to work as well. I hope I was able to help you out some.

A Critical Review: Beware folks these are not real leather. Having problem with my feet because they do not breathe. I’m a diabetic and got fooled into thinking these were leather. It’s false advertising as the outside is covered in a synthetic. Amazon won’t take them back so I got taken. Again beware and shame on Skechers for falsely advertising these.

A Critical Review: This is my 4th pair of these norwood polano, this is by far the worst pair as the quality control must have went home on this last one purchased here. Have only worn this set about once a week since purchased a few months ago and that was just to wear around town . I was working In a rain storm with full body rain suit this past Monday and feet completely soaked before lunch in the asphalt parking lot. No the rain did not go down in my shoes, the suit kept it on the outside as i am professional in working in every weather element my whole life. The other skechers that are supposed to be water proof that I’ve bought in the months prior have held up better than this new pair , none of them lasted more than a few weeks of waterproof if that.But this pair didnt last a day and you can not keep these boots fresh smelling. A 5-Star Review: Great purchase!! I bought this item after recieving an inheritance of Amazon gift cards from a recently deceased uncle. Apparently he hoarded those things thinking they could be valuable assets once the dollar toppled.
Anywho, the boots are great. They fit perfectly, and unlike most shoes, I didn’t feel the need to replace the insoles. That is quite refreshing, as it appears Sketchers isn’t in on the insole racket most shoe companies participate in. I’ve worn these boots almost every day since purchasing, in many different environments, and I have no complaints. I’m on my feet a ton at work, and I come home without aching feet. I get into some sketchy situations in my pursuit of crack cocaine, requiring me to traverse many obstacles and environments, and I’ve never had an issue with slippage. They’re also definitely waterproof as advertised. I also quite enjoy hiking, and these have been great for accessing those hard to reach areas to gain some privacy.
Overall, I’m extremely happy with this purchase. Sketchers has gained a new customer, and I’ll likely buy another pair when needed sometime in the next ten years or so.
A Critical Review: I bought these back in February of 2019 and it’s now October of 2020.
The fitbit I bought last summer tells me I have been over 500 miles – almost all in these shoes.
The shell and sole are still mostly intact. They may even still be waterproof!
That’s the good part. The bad part is the comfort.
When I first bought these, the stitching pressed down on the top of my feet just behind my toes at every step.
The stitching problem disappeared, however, as the insole crushed down a bit.
However, the insole and support are now pretty much non-existent and have been for some time.
As a result, my feet hurt (balls and heels) pretty much every time I wear these for any length of time.
Will try some new insoles but will have to dig the old ones out as they seem to be glued in.

A 5-Star Review: I received these today, put them on right out of the box, and went Christmas shopping. That’s one way to break in a new pair of leather boots! These were comfortable right away, courtesy of the nice insole with a gel center. I always wear gel inserts with boots and most shoes. Not necessary here, it’s built in. Now, of course they are a little stiff at first, just like any other new pair of leather footwear. But, as you can see from the photo, they are already starting to form around my ankle bone so they will provide support without rubbing. Waterproof? Unquestionably. That much is obvious from how they are designed and built. The tongue is secured to the inside up to where the bottom of the “Waterproof” shiny emblem is. That’s how deep a puddle you can stand in without worry of wet feet. If you need more, invest in a pair of hip-waders. I live in Texas on 30 acres of mostly marshland and, of course, we get the annual hurricanes and floods. I’m not worried about that now. Plus, they look good enough that with a little polish and shine, I can wear them to the office. Today rained pretty good and everywhere I went indoors had wet floors and stone, marble or polished concrete underfoot. Any new shoe soles need to be abraded a bit to wear off the slippery new factory finish. I did this by walking from the parking lot to the mall and had no slipping at all once inside. I wear a size 8.5W, ordered a size 8.5M, and they fit perfectly. I took a chance on the “Relaxed Fit” and it paid off. They are insulated enough for Texas winters (only 30F or so) and I don’t think it’s too much for summer (100F +), but I’ll let ya’ll know.
Verdict: A good, comfortable pair of boots that shrug off weather and don’t cost a car payment.
Cons: If I find one, I’ll revise my review and let ya’ll know.
A Critical Review: I have had these for 14 months now and must say they are very comfortable but the only leather on these are maybe the uppers. I bought these specifically to replace my Harley Davidson boots I wore while riding for I needed something a bit more comfortable. The lowers are NOT leather and maybe lasted a year before the color wore off in the lower areas. The soles are hanging in there great but due to the color wearing off in the creases of the boot and looking cheap these things may be going into retirement very soon and will not replace with the same. May have to go back to HD boots, at least they lasted longer than a year!! The only reason I gave 2 stars was for the comfort.

A Critical Review: I am a delivery driver so I need a pair of good fitting boots that are both comfortable for an on the go work day that can handle all weather types. Here’s how these measure up.
Fit: Great, fits like it should. Had the initial toe jam feeling at first but after a day of work they were broken in.
Style: ehhh, I cant expect too look cute while working but they work so far. They’re big and clunky but work. They’re black and black matches… so yea.
Comfort: I will say this, they are very comfortable. My feet were full of blisters and hurting so badly when these came in the mail and these shoes really helped it all. I honestly feel like I’m walking on clouds with the goodyear soles.
Function: This is where I am completely frustrated. These are supposed to be waterproof. They even have a tag stitched into them saying waterproof! And yet it rained and there I was with soaked feet all day long with extra blisters by the end of a 10hr work day. My body was dry and yet my feet were sopping wet. I couldn’t even wear the boots for my next work day because they were still wet over night with a fan pointed on them over night.
