"Excellent place to visit. One of attractions for visitors in Bhopal city. Located in the Raisen District, this archeological site confirms the works of Stone Age civilization. It was named after "Bhima", one of the five sons of Raja Pandu (referring to Mahabharata). Its believed that few of the shelters here are more than 1 lac years old. Its around 45 kms from Bhopal. A wonderful place to visit if you love to see historical places."

"For anyone who likes ancient civilizations or how people lived even before that time, this will be an encouraging place. It is well maintained, and the management has tried to keep it as simple as possible. For people who like animals, the salamanders, lizards, chameleon, monkeys, and pigeons are very high in numbers."

"Prehistoric rock paintings. Decaying slowly. ... but worth a visit. However, be prepared as there are non-existing facilities. Good outing during cooler times. "
