"This museum is actually a palace built by nayak dynasty/Rani mangammal during 17th century....a sad truth is that, this history forgotten in the name of Gandhi memorial...this museum should be relocated and this palace should regain its name....this view, is nothing related to mahathma Gandhi.."

"A must see place in Madurai. A palace turned memorial with no note for exposing it's previous history. Very poor lighting and poor display design Blood stained cloth of mahatma's dress in his final minutes of life induce tears "

"Excellent museum on Gandhi. So much information inside. Unfortunately we were on a tour group and had only 45 mins inside which wasn't nearly enough. "

"This Museum's History dates back to the British regime in India. This place boasts the Enchanting British Architecture along with a model of Gandhi's house and the things he used. However small the Museum may be ,it is filled with historic Significance. This place has been renovated recently to preserve the ancient looks."
