Meesapulimala, always been a hidden gem of Munnar is slowly gaining popularity through a dialogue in a Malayalam movie - Charlie.

Standing at a height of 2640 m Meesapulimala Peak in high ranges of Western Ghats with it being the second highest peak in South India and one among the very few mountains in Kerala region above 8000 ft. sea level. The peak offers a great view of Kolukkumalai estate, parts of the top station, anaiyi​rangal lake, Surya Nellie and a far view of Kodai hills.

It is a hotspot of biodiversity and has been declared a UNESCO world heritage site. Worth visiting at least once.
