Named after Mahatma Gandhi, this beautiful park is situated in the city center of Silchar. The park is big and known for its vast greenery and the fun activities that it has. the highlight of the Park is the Toy Train which is a major attraction for kids.

The other end of the park has the Martyr’s tomb also called Shahid Minar dedicated to the 11 martyrs who were gunned down by police when they were fighting for the protection of the Bengali language. The Gandhibag park is one of the most happening places in Silchar with many prominent and famous mela being regularly held here. The biggest one being the annual Gandhi Mela of handicrafts and handlooms. The park is a perfect place for fun and to spend some quality time with family and loved ones.
