Nubra valley has earned the name ‘Heaven On Earth’ for its adorable beauty. You would have many times enjoyed riding on a camel earlier, but every time you ride a camel in Nubra valley, the ambience makes it a different experience every time.

Placed to the north-east side of Ladakh and at an altitude of 3048 m. above the sea level, Nubra Valley is the valley of rivers Nubra and Shayok. As soon as you reach Nubra valley, you will be greeted by the 32 meter tall statue of Maitreya Buddha. You will also get to witness numerous ancient palaces and Gompas. You can take a leisurely walk around the valley enjoying the breath-taking scenarios. If you are a person who gets accompanied by a camera all throughout the trip, you can be certain that your camera can capture some of the most beautiful pictures here.

Special in Nubra Valley: You’ll have to pass through the Khardung La to reach the valley.
