"The Anand Bhavan is a historic house museum in Allahabad, India focusing on the Nehru Family. It was constructed by Indian political leader Motilal Nehru in the 1930s to serve as the residence of the Nehru family when the original mansion Swaraj Bhavan (previously called Anand Bhavan) was transformed into the local headquarters of the Indian National Congress. Jawahar Planetarium, the planetarium is situated here, which has been striving to inculcate scientific temper among masses through its sky shows on astronomy and science. Anand Bhavan was donated to Indian government in 1970 by the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, the granddaughter of Motilal Nehru and daughter of Jawaharlal Nehru. Here you can see many varieties of flowers, the life style of India's First Prime minister Late Mr. Jawahar Lal Nehru, you can also see the scientific facts in planetarium which feel good. It is a good place to enjoy in weekends with your families."

"Quite well organized and informative exhibit offering a unique and penetrating view into the life of one of the greatest men of India, Jawaharla Nehru. Feels amazing to walk in the same house where the history of India was made. The adjoining bookstore is well worth a visit for titles you won't find usually on Nehru. "

"One should be sensitive to understand the times and people in that context. It is not a palace, but a large house in good taste. This house and it's master were respected across globe before he became prime minister of independent India and this is a chance to understand the reason. From here I came to know that he was a graduate in natural science (not in law) from Cambridge - no wonder he created a strong base for sciences in India. Absolutely clear why we got a secular and rational man as our architect in those crucial years! And what a last testament!"
