"Hindu temple with lots of pilgrims, worth visiting as a tourist as well, you will be asked to leave your shoes, bags and any mobile phones/cameras before entering the temple complex (a small fee of around 10 INR for the bags and 2 INR for the shoes) - from there you can take a boat ride (20 mins) to the Belur Math temple, it costs 10 INR"
