Akshardham literally translates us to ‘The divine abode of God.’ This huge Hindu temple is situated on the banks of the Yamuna river, and was inaugurated on November 6 2005 by the late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. This exemplary piece of architecture is definitely visited by tourists and locals alike.
