Mahavir Mandir, Patna also known as the Hanuman Mandir is one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Hanuman. It is one of the most prominent well-renowned temples of Hanuman in India. Located just beside the Patna railway station or ' Patna Junction', the temple is considered to be the 'Manokamana Mandir' where devotees' every wish is fulfilled. Every year millions of people pay a visit to this temple and the daily count of visitors in more than thousand.
The Mahavir Mandir Trusts have the second highest budget in North India after the famous 'Maa Vaishno Devi Shrine'. There is long queues on Saturdays and Tuesdays as these days are the traditional worshipping days of Lord Hanuman. The Hanuman Mandir of Patna is the most religious place in Patna. On the occasion of Ram Navami, special arrangements are made by the Mahavir Mandir Trust. The waiting queues grow up to some kilometer long on this day.
